Challenge

To complement their new ‘Be There’ campaign launched in May 2018, BT wanted to create a deeper emotional connection with their audience, by demonstrating how connectivity has facilitated the sharing of the moments that matter in life.


Solution

In a series of talking-head spots, we cast well known Channel 4 talent, in this case Clare Balding, George Clarke and Simon Rimmer, and asked them to share some funny, heart-warming and emotional moments in life that mattered to them.

We worked collaboratively with each of them to find genuine stories of how staying connected allowed them to stay close to the ones they love, staying relevant to the service offerings BT provide their customers.

Three 30 second spots were placed contextually around talent programming on Channel 4, the launch airing in George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, and supported by a 40 second montage edit, running throughout the Channel 4 schedule.
